Overview
As a Multi-Skilled Construction Laborer, you will be a versatile and essential member of our construction team. You will perform a wide range of labor-oriented tasks on construction sites, including equipment operation with a focus on loader operation, offroad truck driving, roller operation, and general construction support.
Key Responsibilities- Laborer Duties:
Engage in physically demanding tasks such as digging, shoveling, lifting, and carrying materials. Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling tasks. Perform manual labor to support construction operations. - Loader Operator Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain loaders to perform tasks such as material handling and moving heavy equipment. Load materials onto trucks or other equipment with precision and efficiency. Conduct routine maintenance on loaders and report any issues to the maintenance department. - Offroad Truck Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate offroad trucks to transport materials, equipment, and personnel within construction sites. Adhere to safe driving practices, including load securing and vehicle maintenance. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and adhere to schedules. - Roller Operator Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain rollers to compact and level surfaces, ensuring proper compaction of materials. Follow project plans and specifications to achieve desired compaction results. Conduct routine maintenance on rollers and report any issues to the maintenance department. - Construction Support:
Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members. Assist in maintaining the quality of construction work, ensuring it complies with project standards and specifications. Participate in various construction tasks and projects as directed by the team.
- Proven experience as a Laborer, Loader Operator, Offroad Truck Driver, Roller Operator, or in similar labor-oriented roles in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience operating loaders, offroad trucks, or rollers is preferred.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
