Safety Coordinator – Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning
Position SummaryIES Residential is seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Coordinator to support our Florida operations. This role is instrumental in fostering and strengthening our safety culture across job sites and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular and comprehensive safety inspections across residential construction job sites.
- Collaborate with field and management teams to champion a proactive, accountable, and positive safety culture.
- Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and specialized safety trainings.
- Lead safety meetings with field teams and supervisors to address concerns and reinforce safe work practices.
- Promptly respond to workplace incidents, lead investigations, root cause analyses, and develop corrective actions.
- Act as point of contact during OSHA site visits; ensure documentation and procedures are compliant and up-to-date.
- Communicate and enforce company safety policies and procedures effectively.

Minimum Years of Experience4–6 years
Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in residential or commercial construction.
- OSHA 500 Certification – Required.
- First Aid/CPR Instructor Certification – Preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish – Mandatory.
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of current OSHA standards and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in construction safety within residential or electrical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence positive change and improve safety metrics in field operations.
- Experience using digital safety platforms, mobile apps, or incident tracking tools.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to many job sites.
