Dozer Operator

Overview

Southland Holdings is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated construction workers to join our team as a Dozer Operator.

• Operate grader to spread and level material according to grade specification
• Can you use GPS
• Manipulate hand and/or foot controls to operate a grader on roads
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, moving in response to hand or audio signals
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions and follow all safety procedures

• DOT Experience REQUIRED
• 1-3 YEARS Heavy equipment operation
• Operates several types of construction equipment to include, but not limited to backhoes, dozers, or rough graders. Demands require a worker with experience in the heavy, civil construction industry and ability to work under limited direction and supervision.
• This job requires the ability to perform essential job tasks in less than favorable job conditions. These may include, but are not limited to:
  Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, humidity, sand, wind, or other extreme inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time
