Based in the Orlando, FL area, this role requires more than 10 years of construction management experience, including projects for construction, mechanical systems, interior renovations, upgrades or new fit‑outs. Candidates should have a strong background as an owner’s representative, project facilitator, construction manager, or design and construction contracting professional.
Responsibilities- Inspect and monitor on‑site processes, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and code compliance.
- Lead construction management and owner’s representative duties across multiple projects.
- Oversee on‑site construction management during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit‑out, commissioning, and occupancy phases.
- Provide support in project planning, procurement, design, and management direction to achieve client satisfaction and financial objectives.
- Interface with clients to define project requirements and review schedules to align project work plans and deadlines.
- Lead and manage the construction quality assurance process and coordinate the completion of activities in all phases of the project life cycle.
- Monitor risk management, security, and safety compliance throughout the design and construction effort.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of construction submittals and contract documents.
- Manage project administration and contract administration duties, including records management, field reporting, and procurement activities.
- Provide technical support to customers, maintain electronic documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Planning, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 10 years of responsible experience as an owner’s representative, project facilitator, construction manager, or design and construction contracting professional.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively.
- Experience working in dynamic environments with guest or facility activity.
- Experience in a convention center or comparable environment is required.
- Preferred:
Occupied renovation experience and other related project experience.
