Job Title: SEO Content Writer (Contract)
Location: Remote (Open to Global Talent)
Contract: Freelance / Contract-Based, flexible working arrangement
Reports To: SEO Manager
Language: Must be Fluent in English (Written & Verbal)
We’re looking for a detail-oriented SEO Content Writer who understands how to create content that ranks and resonates. You’ll work closely with our SEO Manager to write blog articles, landing pages, and web copy that aligns with client strategy and search intent, all while maintaining a human, brand-aligned voice.
Key Responsibilities
Write SEO-optimized blog posts, web copy, landing pages, and other content across a range of industries.
Follow content briefs with clear keyword and formatting guidance.
Conduct topic research based on keyword trends and client objectives.
Craft compelling meta titles, meta descriptions, and alt text to support on-page optimization.
Collaborate with SEO Manager and creative team to ensure content meets quality and strategy goals.
Proofread, revise, and improve drafts for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Stay current with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and content marketing best practices.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience writing SEO-driven content.
Proven ability to create high-ranking content, portfolio required.
Familiarity with keyword placement, search intent, and SEO formatting.
Experience with SEO tools such as Surfer, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
Strong grammar, editing skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt writing tone and voice across industries and clients.
Excellent communication, time management, and comfort working in a feedback-driven environment.
Native or fluent English speaker (written and verbal).
