Job Description:
Conference & Live Event Photographer (Contract)

Big Wave Productions is seeking a talented and reliable Conference and Live Event Photographer for contract-based work. This is an on-site, as-needed role primarily based in Central Florida, with occasional opportunities for out-of-state travel. The ideal candidate has proven experience capturing compelling imagery at conferences, conventions, meetings, and other live events.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality event photos in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings
• Work independently and efficiently in fast-paced environments
• Communicate with event managers and clients to ensure key moments are captured
• Deliver professionally edited images in a timely manner
• Maintain a professional demeanor while working around VIPs and large crowds

Qualifications

• Proven experience in conference, event, or corporate photography
• Proficient in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for professional photo editing
• Strong understanding of off-camera and available lighting techniques
• Confident shooting in manual mode and managing challenging lighting conditions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
• Based in or willing to travel within the Greater Orlando area
• Must own and maintain professional-grade DSLR or mirrorless cameras and lenses
• Physically able to work full-day events, often involving early mornings and long hours on your feet
