BWH Plant Co is a digital garden center on a mission to make every thumb green. We’re redefining how people shop for houseplants by creating an engaging, educational, and community-driven experience. As we grow, we’re hiring a part-time Customer Support Associate to help us deliver thoughtful, consistent, 5-star support.
This is aremoterole, but you must be local to the Orlando area for training and occasional in-person meetings.
AboutThe Role
You’ll spend most of your time directly supporting customers across email, chat, social platforms, review channels. Your focus will be answering product questions, helping with plant care, updating orders, troubleshooting delivery issues, and guiding customers through anything that comes up before or after they order.
Because our support team is small (you’ll be one of just two people handling day-to-day conversations), you will have a real impact on how we work. We rely on a “see something, say something, fix something” mindset where everyone helps improve the workflow, not just follow it.
Responsibilities- Provide thoughtful, solution-oriented support across email, chat, social media, and review platforms
- Accurately document order issues and submit shipping claims
- Develop and maintain strong product and plant knowledge
- Support communication with B2B accounts
- Help update and create customer-facing help articles and internal documentation
- Support other projects as needed

Requirements:
- 1-2 years of online customer support experience (email, chat, or social)
- Basic houseplant and plant-care knowledge
- Proficiency with computers and quick information retrieval
- Reside in the Orlando area for training and occasional in-person meetings
- Experience at a growing startup or small business
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Gorgias, Zendesk, Freshdesk
- Experience with Shopify, Slack, GSuite, and Shipstation
- 15-25 hours/week, including at least one weekend day
- $16-17/hour, depending on experience
