Job Description

As a Westgate Resorts OPC (Off Property Consultant), you will be the frontline representative of the Westgate Resorts Marketing Team! Your main responsibility is to promote Westgate Resorts throughout Central Florida by encouraging vacationers to visit our resorts. You will offer them highly discounted rates on theme park and attraction tickets, book room nights, sell attraction tickets, and provide concierge services to visitors and guests on vacation.

As an OPC, you will:

  • Persuade potential clients to visit Westgate Resorts by highlighting savings on Orlando area theme parks and attractions.
  • Engage with guests to facilitate the auditing process and pre-qualify candidates for resort tours, while also being able to pivot them to ticket sales or room bookings if they do not qualify.
  • Provide excellent customer service to increase resort tour sign-ups, ticket sales, and room bookings, representing Westgate Resorts professionally.
  • Use a consultative approach to offer discounted tickets and resort bookings, enhancing guest experience and maximizing personal commissions.
  • Manage POS terminals, including opening, closing, and balancing cash and credit transactions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized work environment.
  • Stay informed about ticket prices and promotional offers to incentivize visits.
  • Work at off-site events, pop-up locations, and conventions, sometimes with little notice, based on business needs and performance. Additional details about commissions and expenses will be discussed during scheduling.

  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, communicate effectively, and present information clearly to individuals and groups
