Join the Disney Central Team as a eCommerce Specialist - Video Chat Cast Member!

As a Cast Member, you assist guests with their accessibility needs, provide support for account set‑up, answer general questions about vacations, and guide guests on using the many services available for guests with disabilities visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. You support guests’ digital experience through the website and the My Disney Experience application.

Cast members attend paid training and performance assessments. Operating hours are Sunday through Saturday, 06:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. This is an hourly position.

Starting pay rate: $20.10/hour.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively answer accessibility‑related questions and recommend services to improve support.
  • Communicate efficiently via video/phone calls, handling multiple chat interactions and computer applications while remaining engaged.
  • Maintain integrity during intensified interactions, making confident decisions and knowing when to raise concerns to leadership.
  • Meet departmental metric expectations and efficiency goals when handling guest accounts.
  • Complete all required company training and compliance courses.
  • Remain flexible with work schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Sales and service experience in a customer‑service or contact‑center environment with interest in Disney property, products, and services.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with various systems and applications, including Microsoft Office and Guest Service Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and resolve conflicts with integrity and partner resourcing.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable asking discovery questions to determine the best accessibility service(s) or when medical consultation is needed.
  • Experience in guest‑services or guest‑relations roles with knowledge of Walt Disney World Services for guests with disabilities.
  • Ability to reframe guest objections while upholding policies courteously.
  • Bilingual (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Theme Parks, Guest, and Cast tools such as Disneyland App, My Disney Experience, Live Engage, Guest Service Suite, MDX, VINCENT, Zendesk, Avaya (a plus).
