Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Customer Service Representative owns the domestic order and customer service queue, ensuring that orders received through all channels are processed accurately, completely and on time. The role serves as a key point of contact for customers and the sales team on pricing, availability, delivery and order status, while coordinating closely with shipping, warehouse and production teams. The individual is also expected to manage returns, credits and claims, and to communicate the status of nonconforming product to customers and internal stakeholders.
The role directly supports customer satisfaction, sales effectiveness and the smooth flow of orders through the business.
- Own the domestic B2B order queue: process overnight EDI orders, then orders that come in by email and online from distributor and dealer accounts
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness
- Answer account and sales-team questions by phone and email about pricing, availability, delivery and order status
- Invoice sales and process returns, credits, warranty claims and shortage claims
- Coordinate product samples for customers and the sales team
- Work closely with shipping, the warehouse and regional sales reps
- 2+ years of B2B customer service or order management (required), supporting business customers such as distributors, dealers, contractors or wholesale accounts
- Experience handling orders for a physical product: order entry, invoicing, credits and returns
- Distribution or manufacturing experience (strongly preferred)
- Close attention to detail, because orders and invoices must be 100% accurate
- Professional written communication, since most of the day runs on email
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word
- EDI, Great Plains or Business Central experience (a plus)
- A high school diploma
- 401(k) with company contribution
- United Healthcare medical with company contribution
- Paid time off
- Able to work onsite in Riviera Beach five days a week
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and work overtime when business needs require it
