Dental Assistant – Full‑time position at Orlando Dental Group located in Orlando, Florida.

LocationOrlando, Florida.
ScheduleMonday through Thursday: 7:45 am – 5:30 pm. Fridays available as needed.

- Assist dentists chairside during procedures.
- Welcome and greet patients.
- Perform front‑desk duties: check‑in/out, answer phones, verify insurance, and related tasks.
- Prepare patients for treatments, ensuring comfort.
- Select and set up instrumentation, equipment, and dental materials as needed.
- Perform instrument sterilization according to regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Handle lab tasks as instructed.
- Provide post‑operative care instructions to patients.
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories.
- Adhere to Florida Essential Functions for Dental Assistants.
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
- Utilize digital software for records and treatment planning.
- Multitask and be proactive in a high‑volume environment.
- Present treatment plans to patients.
- Minimum of 2 years of general dentistry experience, including ortho aligners, CEREC, 3‑D printers, scanners, x‑rays, impressions, temporary crowns, and treatment presentation.
- Strong front‑desk experience – insurance verification, patient check‑in/out, phone handling.
- Organized, proactive, and able to multitask.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: positive energy, empathetic, kind, outgoing.
