Project Manager – Licensed Landscape ArchitectThe Project Manager is responsible for the production, coordination, and supervision of multiple projects. Key responsibilities include project initiation, design and planning, team organization and leadership, staffing, scheduling, and management to ensure the efficient delivery of a high‑quality product in a profitable and timely manner.
Responsibilities- Leads project team activities and manages project initiation, research, materials, and site furnishing selections, programming, and conceptualization.
- Coordinates and approves project presentation materials and participates in design reviews and client presentations.
- Leads development of project goals and organization.
- Prepares consultant agreements and creative solutions that meet client goals.
- Prepares and reviews project correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials that meet project intent, schedule, and budget.
- Leads and coordinates project and client meetings; monitors project and client communications.
- Oversees CAD document production, coordinates drawings, and prepares project specifications.
- Produces documents within established fee budget and schedule; reviews takeoffs, cost estimates, and manages project budgets.
- Reviews and approves construction documents; adheres to RVi Quality Control review process.
- Directs Construction Administration activities and makes site visits.
- Reviews and approves project reprographics and printed materials.
- Manages project budget and updates leadership monthly.
- Effectively delegates tasks to Staff Designers, Staff Planners, and Student Interns.
- Landscape Architecture degree from accredited BLA or MLA university program.
- Registered Landscape Architect and CLARB certification.
- 5–10 years of experience in a private sector design or planning office.
- Advanced AutoCAD (including customizations), Photoshop, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced contract document layout and production knowledge.
- Advanced hand and digital rendering skills.
