At Disney Experiences Technology (DXT), our team creates world‑class immersive digital experiences for Disney’s premier vacation brands, including the Parks & Resorts, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, Disney’s Resorts & Spas, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for end‑to‑end digital and physical guest experiences across attractions, food & beverage, resorts, transportation, and merchandise, as well as initiatives such as My Disney Experience and Hey, Disney!
This role sits in the Product Design & Creative organization within DXT. The Manager, User Experience Design works closely with CAST‑facing services and experiences teams across DXT and reports to the Senior Manager, User Experience Design.
What You’ll Do- Lead team members in the practice of design, providing craft and career mentorship at all stages—concept sketches, wireframes, compositions, prototypes, digital art, and design specifications.
- Oversee resource allocations, ensure accurate billing, and contribute to forecasting to maintain financial integrity.
- Estimate and plan across the organization, voicing recommendations and solutions from a technical perspective to deliver on‑time and within scope.
- Track and assess design trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision‑making.
- Identify and resolve team and project issues, exercising sound judgment and coaching to resolve problems internally and with partners.
- Cultivate strong relationships with team members and cross‑functional partners to drive strategy, collaboration, and innovation.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, ensuring effective growth and development of the team.
- Leadership that inspires people to follow, motivating and challenging teams, while driving high‑quality outcomes.
