Walker Design is looking for an energetic and creative professional architectural designer to join our team. Walker Design provides a comprehensive array of architectural services for new construction and interior renovation projects. Experience:
- A professional degree in architecture - required.
- Professional experience in an architecture firm 5 years minimum - required.
- Experience in commercial projects - required.
- On the path to professional licensure - preferred.
Employment Type:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Design and Construction Documentation.
- Interface with Consultants and third-party vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work on multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
- Field Verifications and project site visits.
- Update and maintain project files and folders.
Requirements:
- AutoCAD proficiency - required
- Revit Architecture proficiency - required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite - required
- Experience in production of Construction Documentation - required
- Construction Administration experience - required
- Experience with coordination with engineers and other consultants – required
- Familiarity with FBC, ADA and NFPA - required
Compensation:
This will be a salary position and compensation will be negotiated during the interview process and will be indicative of the experience level and the skill set of the potential candidate.
