Orlando Health Cancer Center is seeking hematologists with a special interest and experience in leukemia. The Cancer Institute is developing a new separate Leukemia service.
The hematology division is well developed and is busy providing services in both classic and malignant hematology. Additionally, A well-developed bone marrow transplant section provides both autologous and allogenic transplants and cellular therapy, and has a large geographic draw.
The cancer center had a strong, dynamic combined hematology and oncology fellowship program with a wide range of educational activities.
Responsibilities of the selected candidate:
- Academic appoints available at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and Florida State University (FSU) for eligible candidates
- A very competitive contract will be provided for selected physicians

These teams meet several times a week in tumor boards to talk through each patients treatment plan and progression.
The institute continues to introduce and further novel technologies to ensure top-notch services, such as new advanced radiation and proton therapies, bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy, and cancer-related aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. Through a robust research program, the institute also supports physician involvement in numerous research studies and clinical trials that gives patients access to innovative diagnosis, treatment and symptom management options.
While the institutes comprehensive care includes an expert team of medical professionals, advanced technology and leading-edge research, we recognize there is more to cancer care.
