Overview

We are currently seeking an Associate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Pediatric Anesthesiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and comfort of young patients throughout their medical treatments. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout the anesthesia process.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Assess patients  medical histories and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Respond promptly to any anesthesia-related complications or emergencies.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management to pediatric patients.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric anesthesiology.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to pediatric patients.
  • Willingness to adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience or eligibility requirements for Level I pediatric trauma center.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Schedule:

    Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
  • No call or weekends.
  • Daily Volume: 10 patients.
  • Paid travel & expenses.
  • Board certification required
