Advent Health for Children, a nationally recognized pediatric hospital nestled in the heart of Central Florida, is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to join our expanding Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastics Division in Fall 2026. This is a rare and dynamic opportunity to be part of a growing academic and clinical program anchored within a leading children's hospital and backed by a robust qua ternary care system.
The selected surgeon will play a key leadership role in expanding a high-acuity, high-volume practice, with a focus on:
- Craniofacial and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery (including cleft lip/palate and craniosynostosis)
- General Pediatric Plastic Surgery
- Pediatric Microsurgery and Nerve Reconstruction
- Advanced Adult Reconstructive and Aesthetic Procedures (based on interest and training)
- Practice at a Top Children's Hospital in Florida (US News & World Report ranked)
- Access to an ACPA certified comprehensive craniofacial team
- Supportive leadership with a clear vision for program growth and innovation
- Live and work in Orlando, one of the fastest-growing and most desirable cities in the country
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
- Fellowship training in Craniofacial and/or Pediatric Plastic Surgery
- FL Medical license or ability to obtain

This is an employed opportunity through Advent Health Medical Group (AHMG). Our Walt Disney Pavilion at Advent Health for Children is a full service, tertiary children's hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 peds ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open-heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes.
We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the region's only BMT and solid organ transplants including kidney and liver, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017. Our unparalleled network consists of 30 hospitals across the state with one children's hospital at the center totals over 23,000 births and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics.
These 30 hospitals refer patients for tertiary and qua ternary services to our main location near downtown Orlando. Our newest program has brought pediatric liver transplant services to Central Florida. In 2019 through , Advent Health for Children is recognized by US News and World Report as the best Children's Hospital for newborn care in Florida. We are also recognized by The Leapfrog Group as a top Children's Hospital for quality and safety, and we are a magnet designated hospital for nursing care.
Description
We are located in an outpatient center close to the campus of Advent Health for Children, conveniently located close to many gorgeous homes, downtown urban living, shopping and great schools. As one of America's most visited cities, Orlando has world-class attractions including Universal Studios, Walt Disney World and numerous public beach access. Orlando is home to major league soccer (Orlando City Lions) and NBA basketball team (Orlando Magic) as well as UCF college sports.
The city also has many public and private universities and colleges. Newly built Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts hosts variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the year. Orlando has many national and international airlines serving various U.S., South American, and European cities with direct flights. Finally, the greater Orlando area has about two million residents in the surrounding three county region and is one of the fastest growing areas in the South.
