An award winning hospital in Northern Idaho is excited to hire a new Neurohospitalist to partner alongside their other inpatient Neurologist, and an overall team of 7 Neurologists, 4 PAs, and 1 APRN in a community known as an outdoor paradise.
The 350+ bed Level II Trauma Center sees a diverse patient population across the panhandle of Idaho, and from eastern Washington and western Montana. Currently an Idaho TSE level 2 designated Stroke Center, and working toward DNV primary stroke center designation in 2025, the system has been consistently ranked as one of the best places to work in the state.
Neurohospitalist Role Highlights:- Consult-only, 7-on/7-off schedule
- Non-burdensome night call during on-weeks
- Patients seen by a well established hospitalist team overnight
- Even mix of Stroke and General Inpatient consults
- Stroke fellowship ideal, but not required
- Support for Interventional Neurology alongside a Stroke/General inpatient role
- Neurointensivists could also work alongside the robust Intensivist team
- Epic EMR
- H-1B visa support available
