Pediatric Intensivist – Advent Health for Children Overview

Advent Health for Children is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing team. We have an active Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Program, a pediatric residency program with twelve residents per year, and clinical research opportunities.

Advent Health also has a 22‑bed pediatric ICU that maintains its own leadership structure and physician staff.

This employment opportunity includes call coverage, competitive compensation, occurrence‑based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, a 403(b) retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and a relocation allowance.

Our Walt Disney Pavilion at Advent Health for Children is a full‑service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 35 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated pediatric CICU, a 102‑bed NICU, 17‑bed pediatric emergency department, and a statewide pediatric network and transport system.

Key programs include a level IV epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid‑organ transplants (kidney and liver), and increased NICU capacity.
