About the Filutowski Eye Institute

The Filutowski Eye Institute is a busy and well-established practice that specializes in cataract surgery (standard and refractive) and refractive surgery.

The practice is located in three locations across Central Florida and the east coast beaches, and is the main referral practice for over 200 local optometrists.

• Lake Mary and Daytona Beach offices each have an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
• The Lake Mary office houses a SMILE/LASIK/PRK suite with Zeiss Visu Max and Mel 90 excimer laser.
• Cataract surgery utilizes Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), Toric, EDOF and Multifocal IOLs, and MIGS.
• Refractive procedures include SMILE, LASIK, PRK, ICL, and RLE.

• No hospital call; call is for the practice only.
• Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends.
• Access to the newest technology.
• Opportunity to learn and perform refractive procedures offered by the practice.

• Cataract surgeon performing 500+ cases a year.
• General Ophthalmology responsibilities.
• Other clinical and surgical skills are a plus.
• Full‑time position.
• Negotiable salary with incentive bonus.

• Have excellent surgical skills or be highly trainable.
• Possess superb clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Manage and maintain a strong work ethic within a fast‑paced work environment.
• Be enthusiastic to learn and embrace new technologies and procedures.
• Be willing and able to commute between our three offices as necessary.
