Transplant Institute Medical Director

Advent Health Transplant Institute (AHTI) is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to lead our thriving transplant program within the Advent Health healthcare system. This role ensures exceptional patient care delivery, fosters a culture of collaboration, and supports growth across various organs serviced through the AHTI Program while providing leadership for physician and administrative leaders. Additionally, the position serves as the physician lead and representative for the Transplant Institute within the AH Orlando campus, the Institutes, and the AH Medical Group in partnership with the Vice President, AHTI.

Located just outside downtown Orlando near Winter Park, the program operates within a premier healthcare network renowned for its clinical excellence.

• Located at Advent Health Orlando just north of downtown Orlando with an office site steps away in an adjacent medical office building
• Multi-Organ Abdominal Transplant team performs 70 adult and pediatric liver transplants, 160 adult and pediatric kidney transplants, and 10 pancreas transplants yearly
• Cardio thoracic transplant service features a state-of-the-art 32-bed critical care unit dedicated to advanced heart and lung failure and transplant
• Advent Health Orlando is a 440-patient-bed Ginsburg Tower facility housing an Emergency Department, OR suites, and ICU beds
• Cardiovascular Institute includes 12 multi-functional procedure suites supporting cardiac and vascular surgeries and catheterization procedures
• Liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants are performed alongside heart and lung programs initiated in 2012
