Intensivist - Medical & Cardiac ICU

Advent Health Orlando is seeking a dynamic, energetic intensivist to join their Medical & Cardiac ICU team. In this role, you will provide high-quality critical care across medical and cardiac-medical ICUs, including shifts at the South campus qua ternary care center and other moderate-to-large ICUs within the Central Florida Division. You will also have a meaningful academic role built in, contributing to teaching and mentorship in partnership with Internal Medicine Residency and Critical Care Fellowship programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care across our medical and cardiac-medical ICUs, including shifts at our South campus qua ternary care center and other moderate-to-large ICUs within the Central Florida Division.
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship in partnership with our Internal Medicine Residency and Critical Care Fellowship programs.
• Help shape the future of our critical care service through ongoing program development.
• Support clinical quality in the Medical ICU, including quality metrics and participation in quality assurance teams.
• Educate advanced practice providers (APPs), critical care fellows, and new staff.
• Participate in program development and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine (ABIM).
• Experience in medical ICU settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across both private-practice and employed-physician models.
