Children's Pastor

Overview

The Elementary Ministry Director plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth of our youngest members at an age-appropriate level, creating a safe and engaging environment where children can explore the Bible, expand their faith and develop a deep love for Jesus Christ while building relationships.

This individual would oversee the Elementary Ministry on Sunday mornings and mid-week activities. They would handle administrative responsibilities, parent communication, and oversee successful implementation of summer camp and special events pertaining to Children's ministry. This position's starting pay minimum is $20/hour, working between 10 and 20 hours per week.

• Pray about, study for, plan and deliver the Kids Message during service in the Sanctuary, prior to dismissal of the kids.
• Plan the Kids Church service:
  Praise and worship, the Bible lesson, hands on activities, and coordinating/scheduling volunteers.

• Plan and prep elementary ministry time.
• Pray about, study for, plan and deliver a Bible-based lesson, including hands-on bible activities and games.

• Communication with parents as needed
