Base Pay Range

$50.00/hr – $50.00/hr

Annual salary $100,000 with weekly pay. Full health benefits from day one, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) Roth available. Relocation assistance provided.

What You Will Be Doing

• Guide students through goal‑setting processes and achievement milestones, developing their capacity for self‑directed learning.
• Deliver focused instruction in foundational literacy and social‑emotional competencies, working alongside Reading Specialists.
• Create classroom conditions that promote curiosity and persistence through engaging, tactile learning activities.
• Integrate AI‑powered educational tools to strengthen learning outcomes and prepare students for technology‑enhanced learning environments.
• Collaborate with educators and counselors to address each student’s distinct learning trajectory and tailor approaches to individual needs.

• Rely exclusively on conventional instructional techniques that ignore modern educational technology.
• Apply standardized teaching methods across all students—personalized learning is essential.
• Prioritise academic outcomes while neglecting the critical role of social and emotional growth.

Reading Interventionist

Key Responsibilities

Lead the cultivation of self‑directed learning capabilities and essential life skills for Kindergarten through 2nd‑grade students, establishing foundations for both educational achievement and holistic personal development.

Basic Requirements

• Available to work on‑site at one of the campus locations:
  Austin, TX;
  Fort Worth, TX;
  Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with children ages 4‑8 in educational, after‑school, athletics, or comparable settings.
• Demonstrated capability to apply growth‑mindset principles and high‑performance coaching techniques.
• Enthusiastic about and capable of leveraging AI and technology tools within educational contexts.
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice‑to‑have Requirements

• Degree or certification in early childhood‑related disciplines (e.g., education, child development, reading intervention).
• Professional credentials or specialised training in early childhood pedagogies such as CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
• Background as a K‑2 classroom teacher, literacy coach, or reading specialist with structured training in reading & phonics instruction frameworks.
• Prior work in environments focused on individualized learning pathways and technology‑driven education.

Position Details

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position that is immediately available. The role requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
