Join Rasmussen University in the role of Program Coordinator & Faculty, School of Nursing. The role promotes the vision and mission of the nursing program while teaching up to three work units per quarter.

• Teach up to 3 work units (~15‑20 contact hours) per academic quarter.
• Serve as the key programmatic leader on campus, providing expertise to students, staff, and faculty.
• Assist the Dean of Nursing and program faculty in planning, implementing, and evaluating curricula.
• Represent the University to students, professional organizations, partners, and communities.
• Monitor and report program metrics such as learning outcomes, enrollment, retention, and graduate placement.
• Participate in strategic planning, programmatic activity implementation, and academic policy review.
• Support programmatic professional development for faculty, including new faculty orientation.
• Assist recruitment, selection, and onboarding of programmatic faculty and support interview processes.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Dean of Nursing.
• Support achievement of program start, retention, and placement goals.
• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes.
• Attend University functions and build community relationships.
• Assist in gaining clinical partnerships and visiting sites as needed.
• Provide academic advising and counseling to students.
• Respond promptly to requests from students, faculty, and leadership.
• Collaborate with student support personnel to deliver superior student service.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; MSN or Doctorate preferred.
• Teaching experience highly desired.
• Self‑motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with students, leadership, and peers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Faculty must have regular access to a computer with Windows XP or greater, Microsoft Office 2010, and internet connectivity.
