A private family in Miami Beach is seeking an exceptional, experienced, and highly qualified Full-Time Homeschool Teacher / Private Educator
to provide a comprehensive, engaging, and academically rigorous education for elementary school-aged children.

This is an opportunity for an educator who is passionate about teaching, genuinely enjoys working with children, and can create a warm, structured, intellectually stimulating learning environment within a private home setting.

The ideal candidate will have formal teaching credentials and experience educating elementary-aged students across the full range of core academic subjects.
Jewish Studies will be an important and meaningful component of the children's education
, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching Jewish history, traditions, holidays, values, culture, and age-appropriate Torah/Judaic studies.

The teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a customized homeschool curriculum that meets or exceeds appropriate academic standards while adapting instruction to each child's individual learning style, interests, strengths, and areas for development.

This position is based primarily in Miami Beach
, but the family travels and the teacher must be comfortable and available to travel with the family on short notice and as needed
. Flexibility and adaptability are therefore essential.

• Provide full-time, one-on-one and/or small-group instruction to elementary school-aged children.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive homeschool curriculum covering all core elementary academic subjects.
• Teach
  English Language Arts, reading, writing, grammar, spelling, literature, mathematics, science, social studies, history, geography, and other age-appropriate academic subjects
  .
• Ensure students remain on track academically and meet appropriate grade-level standards.
• Create engaging lesson plans, projects, assignments, assessments, and enrichment activities.
• Adapt teaching methods and curriculum to accommodate individual learning styles, abilities, interests, and developmental needs.
• Monitor academic progress and maintain organized records of assignments, assessments, accomplishments, and areas requiring additional support.
• Provide appropriate academic challenge and enrichment to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning.
• Incorporate hands-on learning, educational outings, experiential activities, and real-world learning opportunities when appropriate.
• Coordinate with parents and, when applicable, outside tutors, specialists, educational consultants, or other members of the children's support team.

Jewish education is an important focus of this position.

The teacher will incorporate meaningful, age-appropriate Jewish Studies into the children's daily or weekly educational program, which may include:

• Jewish history and culture
• Torah and age-appropriate biblical studies
• Jewish holidays and traditions
• Jewish values and ethics
• Hebrew language fundamentals, as appropriate
• Shabbat and Jewish customs
• Israel and its history and culture
• Stories, texts, and traditions appropriate for the children's ages
• Hands-on Jewish learning and holiday-related activities
• Connecting Jewish values and traditions to everyday life
