The Field Engineer supports the Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Engineer(s), and on-site construction staff in various tasks. Responsibilities include tracking RFIs, processing change orders, assisting with project layout based on engineering plans and specs, and aiding in project close-out.

• Assist with evaluation of field conditions and acceptance testing.
• Support quality assurance and quality control for engineering materials testing.
• Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
• Review shop drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide document control assistance for correspondence, submittals, and design releases.
• Initiate engineering design clarifications.
• Perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis to maximize efficiency.
• Assist with preparing and updating project schedules and coordinate with scheduling teams.
• Manage subcontractors' field operations and verify contract payments.
• Assist in designing temporary structures using CAD tools.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university;
  Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Basic understanding of Heavy Civil/Tunnel/Bridge/Highway projects from bidding to close-out.
• Ability to analyze schematics, engineering drawings, specs, estimates, change orders, and schedules.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Problem-solving skills.
