Are you passionate about driving innovation at the intersection of engineering and digital technology? Our Global Product Innovation team is seeking a Product Innovation Engineer to lead cutting-edge product development initiatives that support our global serialization strategy.

In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with teams around the world to evaluate new materials, manage testing programs, and deliver data-driven insights that shape the future of our digital products. Position Purpose
  • Support global digital strategy through product development initiatives
  • Manage inventory, monitor internal testing, analyze and report on results
  • Construct engineering reports including statistical analysis of laboratory data to enable decision making
  • Lead digital product innovation initiatives and provide technical expertise for digital-related programs
  • Evaluate new materials, processes and solutions to enable serialization and digital product programs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, quality, operations, and digital teams globally
Major/Key Accountabilities
  • Provide outstanding technical/engineering design and analysis services to a broad array of internal and external customers
  • Set up and perform product testing according to specified test methods
  • Utilize working knowledge of statistics to provide data analysis and observations
  • Interface with in-region and out-of-region teams (procurement & quality) to support and execute programs via effective communications and test methods
  • Focus on continuous improvement to reduce total program time and improve data accuracy
  • Collaborate seamlessly with external engineering service providers

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required
  • Candidate must be a highly analytical, hands-on person with strong technical skills
  • Hands-on experience working in a high-performance testing or product development and design facility
  • High-level data analysis, technical reporting, and project management skills
  • Proven ability to interpret engineering documents, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong communication skills to present technical information clearly at different levels
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office products and data analysis software
  • Proficiency in engineering software/tools like Statistica, Mini Tab, and Python
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and data analysis
  • Skilled in data-driven design and analytical problem-solving
  • Ability to excel independently and as a member of cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of pallet characteristics & properties
Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical environments related to product development, design, or engineering
  • Experience analyzing critical data, experimental design, and engineering technical documentation
  • Managing data through statistical software like Statistica
Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Understanding of material properties relevant to product design and optimization
  • Working understanding of design of experiments methods and tools
  • Product testing methods and data evaluation

  • Skilled in the use of MS Office productivity tools especially Excel & Power Point

  • Working knowledge of programming and electrical systems
  • Complex product assembly and product configuration management
  • Capex project management experience
