HWIL RF Engineer
Lockheed Martin is seeking an IT&E RF Engineer to join our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Center of Excellence (COE) team in Orlando. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, calibrating, troubleshooting, operating and maintaining advanced RF HWIL systems, subsystems, and components. They will also design RF circuits, perform signal integrity measurements, analyze real-time simulation output, and manage the repair and replacement of RF subsystem components.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain advanced RF Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) systems, subsystems and components (couplers, attenuators, phase shifters, mixers, filters, isolators, etc.)
- Design RF circuits including up converters, down converters, local oscillator distribution networks, etc.
- Perform signal integrity measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Analyze real-time, closed-loop HWIL simulation output and troubleshoot system performance deficiencies.
- Perform quick‑look analysis and data reduction of HWIL simulation output data.
- Manage the repair and/or replacement of RF subsystem components (couplers, attenuators, phase shifters, mixers, filters, isolators, etc.).
- Experience with the design and operation of real-time, closed-loop RF HWIL simulators.
- Experience with configuration and data management (CDM) of hardware and software.
- Experience with GPS simulators (Spirent).
- Experience with Linux.

Work LocationOnsite Full‑time – The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
