• Preparation of design plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of water/wastewater and stormwater projects, including transmission, distribution, collection, treatment, storage, utility master planning, permitting, and related engineering tasks.
• Hydraulic modeling including stormwater pre/post and advanced treatment and storage design, along with water and sewer pumping systems and hydraulic water distribution modeling.
• Interact with public and private clients and other jurisdictional agencies.
• Perform assignments requiring standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks, further developing judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
• Review design plans and compare to accepted municipal standards and details.
• Prepare engineering calculations, develop drawings, and create visual aids.
• Assist with field research, data collection, data analysis, graphics, maps, and data presentation, and report development.
• Manage time and workload to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Limited travel to assist with site investigations, construction observation, and project transmittals.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related focus.
• EI Certificate preferred or eligibility and scheduled for FE exam.
• Detail‑oriented with strong technical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
• Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and can meet deadlines.
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, Water
  
  CAD, ICPR, and other modeling software preferred.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
