ECLSS Fluids Test Engineer

Overview

Join ECLSS Fluids Test Engineer at Cimarron Inc. supporting the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program at Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

• Conduct leak checks and operate high‑pressure fluid systems for spacecraft testing.
• Work with refrigerants, coolants and oxygen systems, ensuring proper operation and safety.
• Support spacecraft test engineering efforts, troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering professional growth and inclusive team culture.
• Develop and execute procedures for leak checks and functional testing of spacecraft ECLSS.
• Document and resolve non‑conformances on ground support equipment and flight hardware.

• U.S. citizen;
  Real‑ driver’s license or state .
• 10+ years of test engineering experience; 5+ on spacecraft.
• Proficiency in leak detection, high‑pressure system operations, and fluid system troubleshooting.
• Experience with refrigerant, coolant, and oxygen systems in human spaceflight programs.
• Background check and drug screening required; DOT random testing applies.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering;
  Master’s preferred.
• Ability to support 1st and 2nd shift assignments.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities for ground support equipment and flight hardware.
