Industrial Engineer Sr

You will be the Industrial Engineer Sr, responsible for improving production processes and preparing for future business needs for sensor and missile products in the Manufacturing Centers. Our team is focused on driving efficiency and effectiveness in our production operations, and we’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team.

As the Industrial Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for leading cross‑functional improvement efforts for a production area, working with various teams to identify areas of focus for production improvement. You will perform observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement, and use visualization and data tools to analyze production processes. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Leading cross‑functional improvement efforts for a production area
• Identifying areas of focus for production improvement across a wide scope
• Performing observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement
• Using visualization and data tools to analyze production processes
• Applying Lean and Six‑Sigma practices to production and leading events for major improvement efforts
• Analyzing large data sets to conduct Capacity Requirements Planning (equipment utilization, manpower forecasting, and factory space planning)
• Analyzing and factory scheduling with cycle time analysis
• Planning and implementing layout improvements and capital equipment projects
• Building discrete event simulation models for use in what‑if analysis of production processes
• Assisting in new product development and proposal efforts with data analysis
