Duties, Responsibilities & OtherKCI Technologies is hiring an experienced Project Manager to join our Building Structures team in Orlando, FL.
- Extensive experience performing structural analysis of various building elements and systems comprised of reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, wood, and aluminum for both gravity and lateral loading conditions.
- Experience usingstructuraldesignsoftware including Ram Structural Systems, RISA3D,and AutoCAD/Revit.
- Provenexperienceinmanagingbuildingstructuralengineeringprojects.
- Fieldexperienceandabilitytoworkcollaborativelywithclients,contractors,andotherdisciplines.
- Bachelor of Sciencein Civil Engineering with a structural emphasisor in Structural Engineeringfromanaccreditedinstitution.
- Florida Professional Engineering(PE) licenseisrequired.
Structural Engineering(SE) licenseisaplus.
NCEESregistrationisaplus,withtheabilitytoobtainlicensesinotherstates.
Skills,Duties&Responsibilities:
- Serve as the engineer in responsible charge for assigned projects.
- Abilitytomulti-taskandperformbuildingandbuilding-relatedstructuraldesign,includingdevelopmentofconstructiondrawingsforreinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, wood, and aluminum structures for both gravity and lateral loading conditions. Review shop drawings, RFI’s, and perform site visits during the construction phase of projects.
- Proficiencyindevelopingconstructiondocumentationusing
AutoCAD and Revit. Lead the preparation of structural plans and specifications for construction documents. Ability to coordinate drafters and other engineers to produce AutoCAD and Revit drawings for bid and construction documents for buildings. - Lead staff engineers and engineer designers in the design process from schematic design through the completion of construction.
- Leadprojectteamsandcollaboratewithotherdisciplines. Coordinate the structural design with architectural and MEP designs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Officesuiteand Bluebeam /Adobe.
Experience with Ram Structural Systems, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD,andRISA3D. - Providingmentoringandoversightofjuniorstaff. Assist in the technical and professional development of junior staff through formal and informal training efforts.
