Senior Project Engineer - FL PE License (Orlando)

Location: Orlando, FL

Description: The Senior Project Engineer leads the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects, providing innovative solutions and supervising project execution to high quality standards.

Duties Include:
  • Lead design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
  • Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Review and approve designs, specifications, and calculations.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies.
  • Ensure project safety compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, and status updates.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external clients.
Requirements/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Deltek Vision, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Critical thinking and independent judgment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and project schedule adherence.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and industry standards.
  • PE License Required.
