Senior Project Engineer - FL PE License (Orlando)

Department: Civil/Municipal
Location: Orlando, FL
Description: The Senior Project Engineer leads the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects, providing innovative solutions and supervising project execution to high quality standards.
Duties Include:- Lead design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
- Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans to ensure timely completion.
- Review and approve designs, specifications, and calculations.
- Identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies.
- Ensure project safety compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, and status updates.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Deltek Vision, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and project schedule adherence.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and industry standards.
- PE License Required.
- Dependent upon experience.
