Responsibilities
Conducting field observations associated with existing facilities
Performing facilities related services including roofing and waterproofing, fireproofing and fire stopping, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations
Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers
- Attending project meetings and assisting in project resolutions
Assisting with preparation of proposals
Assisting with the resolution of both technical and administrative project issues
Assisting with scheduling, training, and oversight of field staff

QualificationsActively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree
Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures
Previous internship experience would go a long way
- Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursed
