Project Surveyor

At David Evans and Associates, Inc., our Surveying and Geomatics team merges tradition with cutting‑edge technology. We provide aerial LiDAR, topographic, construction surveys, and BIM modeling, delivering precise and innovative solutions for our clients and communities.

• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets for a variety of survey projects
• Perform research and calculations in multiple jurisdictions
• Lead QA/QC for deliverables across boundary, control, and construction‑related surveys
• Build and maintain client relationships within the region
• Coordinate with other DEA business units on integrated project delivery
• Mentor and support field and office staff to advance their development within the profession

• Georgia and/or Florida Professional Land Surveyor license, or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Ability to independently manage projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience mentoring junior staff and directing technical work
• Proficiency with CAD and land surveying software (e.g., Civil 3D, Micro Station InRoads/Open Roads)
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
