Mechanical Engineer

The project is a level 2 alteration of an existing 1,212 sf commercial space, converting from a pack & post to a sushi restaurant with liquor bar. The building is type IIB construction and is sprinkled. We need an engineer to provide full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design for building permit submittal to Orange County, Florida.

For mechanical, a new 3 ton split system was installed in 2022 and will be used for the new restaurant design. All existing ductwork will be removed and replaced. The electric service is currently 3 phase, 100 amp. All new runs for new power distribution and new lighting will be part of this new design. The existing single user restroom will be gutted and new fixtures will be installed.

For the new kitchen and bar, a number of floor sinks and drains will need to be added, as well as a grease trap as required. The building is sprinkled and most existing heads will need to be shifted to accommodate the new ceiling layout. We will need 61G15 details to set the performance specifications.
