Wilson & Girgenti, P.A. is seeking an Estimator to join our multidisciplinary engineering firm for the purpose of producing engineering estimates. The disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection/Alarm and Structural.

• Take charge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF documents.
• Problem‑solve and stay organized.
• Write and proofread documentation.
• Coordinate and prepare simple to moderately complex estimates from intake through calculation and write‑to client delivery.
• Coordinate and maintain team documentation efforts for responses to RFPs/RFQs.
• Draft estimates and communicate across teams and disciplines to gather input and meet strict deadlines.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly estimate reports and spreadsheets.
• Maintain estimate logs and related files.
• Follow up on leads and outstanding estimates.

• Take direction and think independently when given tasks.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Adobe and Excel.
• Experience in related industries (MEP, FP, and Structural engineering/construction).
• Familiarity with RFP and RFQ procedures.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of reading and understanding architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical plans, and scopes of work.
• High level of quality, consistency and accuracy.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible; ability to shift priorities under pressure while maintaining routine follow‑through on deadlines and commitments.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating as part of a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business or Communications preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in estimating or a closely related field to the A&E Industry.
