Description: You will be a Circuit Card Design Lead for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for developing cutting‑edge technologies for small form factor missiles, including processor boards and interface board designs.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Circuit Card Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of circuit card designs for cutting‑edge systems. You will work closely with your team and electronic packaging engineers and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and development of circuit card designs for cutting‑edge systems
  • Collaborating with electronic packaging engineers and systems engineers
  • Leading design, build, and integration of bread board and brass board designs to fit the desired form factor
  • Working in a lab environment to test, evaluate, and integrate board designs
  • Utilizing schematic capture and board layout tools
  • Leading a small engineering team (3‑4 electrical engineers) for CCA design, PLD design, and processor/chassis selections
  • Developing program plan and tasking for the Electrical Design engineers
  • Collaborating with LM Space designers
  • Evaluating requirements and ensuring the design team develops all necessary design documentation
  • Collaborating with integration and test team for developing test hardware
  • Working closely with Program Manager and Chief Engineer to ensure strong technical execution of the IRAD with respect to Electrical Design

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience leading teams to design circuit cards
  • Experience with circuit card design, integration, and test
  • Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture
  • Experience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Ability to work on site 3 days a week
Desired Skills
  • Experience with MFC circuit card design processes
  • Experience with missile systems
  • Familiarity with Model Based Design
  • Experience with integrating infrared sensors and sensor systems

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
