Rental Technician I – Power Systems – Ring Power Cat
In 1962, Ring Power Corporation became a full-line Caterpillar dealer in North Florida, and later expanded its authorized territory to include Central Florida. With headquarters in St. Augustine overseeing 18 branch locations throughout Florida, including large regional facilities in Tampa and Orlando, and production and service facilities in Pompano, Ring Power has also established eight facilities outside of Florida in the Carolinas, Georgia, Texas and Tennessee to serve specialized industries and customers.

Job Role
- Installation and Commissioning – Supervise and execute the setup, installation, and commissioning of rental equipment at customer sites, including Generators, TC equipment, Load Banks, BESS, and Distribution, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Customer Interface and Technical Support – Act as a technical resource for clients, providing expert advice, support during setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Equipment Repairs – Perform designated repairs on rental equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Generators, TC equipment, Load Banks, BESS, and Distribution.
- After-Hours Response – Respond and address after-hours, weekend, and holiday rental needs.
- Safety Compliance – Promote a culture of safety by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and ensuring all work activities meet industry safety regulations.
- System Testing and QA – Perform rigorous testing and calibration of equipment to verify operational integrity, efficiency, and safety, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Teamwork and Leadership – Approach work positively, support teamwork, and train/mentor others while delivering tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
- Additional Duties – Perform other duties as assigned.
