Salary
Base salary range: $66,000.00 – $90,800.00 per year. The position will be paid hourly based on hours worked, with individual pay determined by location and other factors.
Job OverviewWorking as an Electrical Design Technician, you will support the data center design team in completing multidisciplinary facility design projects. You will work with Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers and Architects to prepare construction drawings for MEP systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
ResponsibilitiesYour role will involve:
- Designing and drafting facility construction drawings for MEP systems.
- Applying diversified knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software and practices.
- Managing worksets, controlling visibility, and using parameters in Revit families and schedules.
- Collaborating with the team to prepare accurate construction documents.
- At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building-related designs.
- BS Degree reduces this requirement by 1-2 years.
- Proficient in creating and updating templates and project set‑up in Revit.
- Familiar with central and local file workflows.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Revit 2017/2018, BIM
360, Autodesk, BIM 360 Glue, and Navisworks. - U.S. Citizen.
