We are seeking driven and talented recent graduates to join our Talent Development Program (TDP). This 12-month program provides hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of our operations. As a Talent Development Professional (TDP), you’ll rotate through various roles within our Ready-Mix division, gaining insights and developing the skills needed to thrive at Cemex USA.
Job ResponsibilitiesDuring your time in the Talent Development Program, you’ll be immersed in key areas of our business, with project-based learning and cross-functional collaboration across Cemex's business lines (including Aggregates, Cement, Ready-Mix/Concrete, and Supply Chain). Your responsibilities will include:
- Safety Excellence: Safety is our #1 core value. You’ll be trained in safety protocols and will help ensure safety standards are met or exceeded across operations.
- Rotational Learning: Participate in a structured program covering Safety, Plant Management & Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Quality Control & Project Coordination, Customer Service/Sales, Dispatch, Environmental, and Human Resources. Each rotation provides a well-rounded experience with real projects.
- Skill Development: Develop technical and soft skills through hands-on work, training, and mentorship; leadership abilities will grow as you take on increasing responsibilities.
- Networking: Build a network of contacts and resources across the company through mentorship and leadership exposure.
- Innovation and Improvement: Contribute ideas to support ongoing success of Ready-Mix operations.
Who we are looking for
- Educational Foundation: A recent bachelor’s degree in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Construction Science Management/Construction Management, Business Admin/Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (open to additional degrees).
- Academic Performance: GPA of 2.5 or above, with preference for 3.0 or higher.
- Leadership Potential:
Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. - Communication
Skills:
Proficient analytical and presentation abilities. - Technical Proficiency:
Prior internship, co-op, or university project experience in the industry is a plus. - Flexibility:
Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed.
- Work Schedule:
Full-time program with potential travel based on rotation requirements. - Environment:
Mix of office work and fieldwork with outdoor and varying environmental conditions.
