Metrologist Senior – Measurement Science

Job Description You will be the Metrologist Senior for the Measurement Science team. Our team is responsible for advancing precision measurement capabilities and ensuring the reliability of calibration systems across diverse applications.
As the Metrologist Senior you will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and refining calibration systems that quantify physical and chemical properties with high accuracy.
Your Responsibilities Will Include (Not Limited To)- Develop and validate calibration methods rooted in measurement‑science principles.
- Identify and quantify error sources to assess uncertainty and reliability.
- Perform hands‑on calibration of electronic, electromechanical, optical, pneumatic, and pressure‑type instruments.
- Analyze measurement problems and recommend technical solutions to meet precision requirements.
- Document procedures, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- STEM Associate degree or higher.
- Working knowledge of Aerospace Standard AS9100D.
- Experience with Indy Soft (Calibration Management System).
- Automated calibration method development experience.
