Description
You will be the Quality Engineer for the Sensors Integration & Test manufacturing center team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical, optical, and mechanical component assembly and integration testing for Lockheed Martin’s Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) operations.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment to ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers. You will also lead corrective action meetings, analyze process issues, and participate in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.
Responsibilities- Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
- Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products
- Supporting Supplier IPTs and production sites with quality data analysis
- Analyzing and resolving process issues, from basic to complex
- Leading corrective action meetings and participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards
- Performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, and ISO-9001 / AS9100
- Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology
- Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
- Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications- STEM degree at Bachelor level or above.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of Quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products.
- Experience doing root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, Power point, etc. - Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black belt certifications.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and controls.
- Experience with automated processes and robotic technologies.
- Knowledge and/or experience for working to the requirements of Industry recognized Quality Systems such as International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS) regulations.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
