Controls Engineer

Location:

Jacksonville, FL

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership to engineers & Level 1 engineers in the form of technical, procedural & organizational guidance.

Design, develop & integrate new functionality across all line conversions.

Perform detail design reviews for each functionality change developed.

Investigate root causes of manufacturing & safety issues.

Propose software changes to address issues identified.

Create related PLC code documentation, PLC ladder logic comments, and written technical configuration.

Align technical team to a set of tasks based on PLC optimization.

Provide engineering with all documentation and verify all procedures for maintenance are correct for maintenance & operations manuals.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

Be a Professional Engineer with 60 months engineering experience.
