Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client, a leader in the Electrical Equipment industry, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting Supplier Management and Project Execution Teams

Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location:
Orlando, FL

Pay Range: 47.50 - 54.30 per hour

• Perform supplier oversight and product inspections for project execution to ensure compliance with specifications (visual, dimensional, weld, coating, traceability, quality records, FAT, etc.).
• Execute routine supplier audits based on ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards.
• Manage nonconformance issues, initiate containment, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support supplier development through quality improvement programs, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation measures.
• Generate periodic quality performance reports and ensure improvement actions are implemented.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in supplier quality management or engineering for MV/LV electrical systems and components.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC standards.
• ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 35%
