Our client, a leader in the Electrical Equipment industry, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting Supplier Management and Project Execution Teams

Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location:
Orlando, FL
Pay Range: 47.50 - 54.30 per hour
What’s the Job?- Perform supplier oversight and product inspections for project execution to ensure compliance with specifications (visual, dimensional, weld, coating, traceability, quality records, FAT, etc.).
- Execute routine supplier audits based on ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards.
- Manage nonconformance issues, initiate containment, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support supplier development through quality improvement programs, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation measures.
- Generate periodic quality performance reports and ensure improvement actions are implemented.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in supplier quality management or engineering for MV/LV electrical systems and components.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC standards.
- ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 35%
