Senior CAD - Land development

We are seeking a skilled Senior CAD Designer to join our civil engineering team. In this role, you will leverage advanced technology to produce detailed construction plans for a variety of land development projects, including commercial, residential, and municipal sectors. From initial concepts to final construction documents, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and efficient designs.

• Develop detailed civil construction plans for land development projects across multiple sectors.
• Design and analyze engineering systems related to site development and utilities.
• Prepare calculations for grading, utilities, and roadway requirements for translation into working drawings.
• Utilize CAD software to create precise 2D and 3D designs for complex projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish timelines, budgets, and resolve design challenges.
• Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of CAD data files.
• Ability to set up and manage CAD drafting and plan preparation with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (surfaces, earthworks, profiles, sections).
• Strong understanding of basic calculations (slopes, grades, etc.).
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

• Associate degree in CAD or related field preferred.
• Technical certification in AutoCAD/Drafting.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in CAD design required.
• Prior experience in land development required; experience with single-family and master-planned communities preferred.
