Role: CEI Senior Project Engineer – Orlando, Florida

Work Location Model: Hybrid

• Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program
• Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members
• Develop and review policies, methods, practices, and procedures
• Review programs for conformance with Department standards
• Oversee engineering production activities for an operating unit
• Make decisions and recommendations recognized as authoritative
• Initiate and maintain contact with senior-level management and manage critical dispute resolution and negotiation issues
• Assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support staff under minimal supervision

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
• US Citizenship required
• Professional Engineer (PE) – Ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another state

• Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Proficient with project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence
• Demonstrates strong judgment in proactively identifying and solving routine and non-routine operational challenges, establishing operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidance across diverse engineering functions
• FDOT Advanced MOT
• CTQP Quality Control Manager
• Six years of engineering experience, two of those years involved in relevant transportation projects

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $120,000 to $180,000 per year.
