Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager - Storm Water Design

Job Overview

An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager - Storm Water Design to lead complex civil engineering projects from design and permitting through construction. This client-facing role combines project management, technical coordination, team leadership, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, resources, and quality standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams throughout design, permitting, and construction.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee stormwater design, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Review proposals, contracts, and project documentation.
• Implement quality control procedures and resolve project-related challenges.
• Support business development, client retention, and new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the AEC industry or project management.
• Extensive stormwater design and permitting experience, including local and state regulations and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requirements.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, complex projects, and client relationships.
• PMP certification and Florida Professional Engineer (PE) licence are highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of Storm Wise (ICPR4), Civil 3D, WaterCAD, and StormCAD.
