- Prepare drainage reports, permit documentation, engineering calculations, and technical memoranda.
- Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Utilize modeling tools such as ICPR4, HEC-RAS, and SWMM to support project delivery.
- Conduct field investigations, site assessments, and verification of existing drainage conditions.
- Collaborate with roadway, structures, environmental, and permitting teams throughout project development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.

You’ll join a collaborative team where drainage and stormwater expertise is highly valued, with opportunities to lead technical work, mentor junior staff, and contribute to projects that improve the resilience and performance of Florida’s transportation network.
Ideal background:
A water resources engineer, drainage engineer, stormwater engineer, or H&H engineer with transportation project experience, rather than a traditional roadway design engineer.
